Stratio BD earns Honourable Mention in Gartner's Magic Quadrant 2024
Wed, 6th Dec 2023

Stratio BD, a Generative AI Data Fabric specialist, has been given an Honourable Mention in Gartner’s influential Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools for 2024.

Gartner's report is prominent within the industry, serving as a benchmark for assessing prominent global data enterprises, frequently used by business leaders to guide their selection of suitable data integration solutions.

The Honourable Mention awarded to Stratio BD recognises the strength of its pioneering data management tool. The company's trailblazing product has also secured a spot in Gartner’s Emerging Tech Impact Radar, a report emphasising 26 high-impact, disruptive data and analytics technologies on a global scale.

The acknowledgement arrives shortly following the introduction of Stratio Gen-AI, the first secure generative AI engine in the world. The engine allows any business user to pose complex data inquiries in their vernacular and receive precise answers in seconds.

Stratio BD's Generative AI Data Fabric technology enables business users to simplify their understanding of data by transposing enterprise data into a unified business data layer (BDL).

The BDL discloses industry-standard ontologies in the form of knowledge graphs, equipped with various data integration, cataloguing, and governance facilities. When novel business assets and relationships are identified, the associated graph and semantic schemas are automatically instituted in the business data layer.

Stratio BD’s CEO, Óscar Méndez Soto, expressed delight about the recognition: “Stratio BD’s Honourable Mention reflects our technical prowess and visionary thinking. We’re particularly proud to have been recognised for providing a Business Data Layer (BDL) with generative AI through our robust data fabric architecture - something which many well-established companies who are regularly included in the Magic Quadrant have only sketched on their respective roadmaps."

"With our ambitious expansion plans and 40% YoY growth, we are confident that our Stratio product will continue to be the data management tool-of-choice for enterprises.”

Including Stratio BD in the Emerging Tech Impact Radar serves to highlight the disruptive nature of the firm's Data Fabric product. The solution increases data quality by automatically locating and centralising data into a virtualisation layer where semantic ontologies impart it with business meaning.

This news follows Stratio BD's recent expansion and the release of Stratio Gen-AI. The engine enables users to ask complex data queries in their natural language, providing secure and quick access to precise answers without the need for technical training.

Founded by Óscar Méndez Soto and Ernesto Funes in 2014, Stratio BD counts major corporate enterprises, including Santander, BBVA, and Carrefour among its clients. Last year, the company concluded its Series C funding, which totalled EUR 65 million, alongside 40% growth.
