FYI, this story is more than a year old

Data integration and integrity company Talend has today announced their partnership with Snowflake, cloud-based data-warehousing company. The collaboration has resulted in a joint platform, offering Snowflake customers a two-week trial where they can experience Talend Data Fabric.

This trial also includes the recently announced Talend Trust Score that enables companies to assess and improve data reliability in their cloud environment easily.

As one of the first partners to support Snowflake Partner Connect, Talend is now certified as ‘Snowflake Ready Technology', as well as being one of only nine Elite Technology partners in the Snowflake Partner Network.

“Trusted data is an essential for businesses to make mission critical decisions,” says Talend global head of business development Rolf Heimes.

“The combination of Talend and Snowflake enables customers to quickly mobilize their data to achieve better business outcomes, with clean, governed, and accessible data at each stage of their Snowflake adoption. We're thrilled to add Talend Data Fabric to Snowflake Partner Connect.

As part of the collaboration announced today, the Talend Trust Score will assess data stored on Snowflake's platform for reliability, as well as measure data health through intelligent diagnosis and resolve data integrity issues in multi-cloud environments.

Joint customers of Talend and Snowflake can ‘make business-critical decisions with confidence', the two companies said in a statement, while using the Talend Data Fabric platform to deliver complete data in ‘near real-time'.

“With Talend, Snowflake and Tableau Software, we have a modern, agile, high-performance, secure and trusted data architecture,” says Kiloutou head of data management Arnaud Maton.

“This means our business divisions can be autonomous in how they run self-service reports with qualified data and also promote a test and learn approach to their use of trusted data.”

The news of the expanded partnership between Talend and Snowflake follows Snowflake's Data Cloud Summit 2020, where executives from both companies discussed the importance of data health and trust.

Talend Trust Score will help companies drive insights using their Snowflake data to make decisions that can accelerate revenue, help innovate faster, and can reduce cost and risk, according to the two companies.

“We're excited to offer joint customers the ability to review, improve and certify the reliability of their data with Talend Trust Score on Snowflake's platform,” says Snowflake vice president of worldwide partner - alliances Colleen Kapase.

“With Talend and Snowflake, customers can confidently make business decisions with data that is clean, concise and uncompromised.
