Thu, 26th Sep 2024

Tech Data announced the launch of Destination AI in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. This strategic initiative aims to provide comprehensive resources and support for AI enablement, solutions, services, and programs to bolster partner companies in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence landscape.

Jaideep Malhotra, President of TD SYNNEX for Asia Pacific & Japan, stated, "With Destination AI, partners can seamlessly embrace the future of artificial intelligence and seize new growth opportunities. By offering comprehensive enablement support and curated AI resources, we empower our partners to thrive at every stage of their AI journey and excel in the rapidly evolving IT landscape."

As artificial intelligence continues to revolutionise various industries, companies often find it challenging to keep pace with the rapid developments and complexities associated with AI adoption. Destination AI aims to address these challenges by providing partners with the necessary insights, training, expert guidance, and ongoing support. The initiative encompasses several key areas:

Firstly, the awareness phase focuses on educating partners about the latest AI advancements. This includes providing curated industry reports, vendor insights, and AI use cases designed to keep partners ahead of market trends.

Secondly, the enablement aspect offers extensive AI training and vendor-specific education. This training helps partners build AI capabilities and integrate these capabilities into their business strategies effectively. Additionally, resources for practice-building are provided to help develop these AI skills.

Furthermore, during the sale phase, partners are provided with expert guidance, hands-on AI solutions, and dedicated assistance to meet both partner and customer needs. This ensures that the technology fits well within the operational frameworks of client businesses.

Finally, after the sale, continuous support is available through ongoing services such as assessment, monitoring, and additional training. This ongoing support is designed to maximise the value of AI investments and ensure sustained performance improvements.

Tech Data also leverages its Tech Center of Excellence (COE) as part of the Destination AI initiative. The COE simplifies strategic AI adoption through pre-validated solutions and practical use cases such as virtual assistants, automation, and innovative content creation. This approach aims to demystify AI technologies and make them accessible and practical for partner companies to implement successfully.

Anand Chakravarthy, Vice President of Advanced Solutions, commented, "As the AI revolution accelerates, we are committed to being the leading destination for AI enablement, empowering our partners to engage in meaningful conversations with their end customers while delivering effective AI solutions to meet their business needs."
