Tesserent Strengthens Leadership Team with Strategic Hires

Tesserent Limited (ASX:TNT), the largest listed cybersecurity company in Australia and New Zealand, has expanded its leadership team, announcing the appointments of Silas Barnes as Senior Partner Offensive Security Services, Kelly Taylor as Director of Partners and Alliance, and E-Yang Tang as Senior Partner for Security Architecture, Engineering, Analytics and Alliances.

Silas Barnes, who has held several significant positions including Group Chief Information Security Officer at Virgin Australia and General Manager Cyber at UnitingCare Queensland, says, “I’m thrilled to join Tesserent as we continue the transformation of our offensive security capabilities and help organisations actively bolster their security posture."

Kelly Taylor, with over 15 years of experience in the cyber security industry, including roles such as Microsoft’s Director of Security Services, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "I am absolutely delighted to join Tesserent and look forward to collaborating with my peers, clients and the wider industry as we collectively fight against our adversaries to keep Australia and New Zealand’s digital assets and people safe from cyber crime.”

E-Yang Tang, who has a diverse background that includes roles as former CTO and Vice President at CGI, says, “I am like a kid in a lolly shop! My team and colleagues deliver a full suite of impactful cyber services to our clients. I am delighted to join cyber experts at the top of their craft and help mentor the next generation of talent.”
