UiPath's Clipboard AI named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2023
Fri, 27th Oct 2023

UiPath has announced that its Clipboard AI has been selected as one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2023. The AI-powered automation dramatically simplifies the copy and paste process, enabling an unprecedented level of productivity for its users.

Based in Sydney, UiPath is a leading enterprise automation software company. The annual TIME's Best Inventions list is compiled by TIME editors, correspondents, and staff, and recognises innovations that are changing the way we live, work, and play.

Clipboard AI was listed in the Productivity Category as it eliminates the need for manual copying and pasting. Using Clipboard AI, a user highlights information and instructs the AI where to insert it - be it another form, app, or table - and the AI determines where the data should go and pastes it. Furthermore, Clipboard AI can take information visible in images such as screenshots, scans or screens and make it actionable by copying it to other forms.

The selection for the TIME Best Inventions of 2023 was made from a pool of thousands of global nominations. TIME evaluated each contender on several key factors, including originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact.

"As soon as it's installed, Clipboard AI provides instant value and enables anyone to take advantage of the time-saving power of automation and superior intelligence of AI," said Daniel Dines, Co-CEO and Co-founder, UiPath. "AI has always been at the core of the UiPath Business Automation Platform, and this achievement from TIME is a testament to our ongoing effort to bring innovations to market that not only make businesses more productive but greatly improve how AI can enable humans."

Clipboard AI lightens users' burden of time-intensive, manual tasks involved in moving information from one place to another, allowing them to prioritise tasks delivering higher value. Wesco International, a leading provider of business-to-business distribution, logistics services and supply chain solutions, is using UiPath Clipboard AI to automate several tasks, including document-heavy operations. Clipboard AI allows Wesco to convert various document types into digital formats that can be widely used, enhancing productivity, customer and employee satisfaction, and improving operational efficiency.

Aside from Clipboard AI, UiPath offers other solutions to its more than 10,000 global customers to deliver on the promise of 'AI at Work'. The company recently announced UiPath Autopilot, an integration of Generative AI, Specialised AI, and automation. This was part of UiPath's global user conference, FORWARD VI, where Autopilot empowers users to leverage natural language to prompt AI-powered automations capable of tackling even the most complex processes.
