Mon, 23rd May 2022
FYI, this story is more than a year old

APAC companies Baidam, Firmus, ShellSoft and Macnica have been recognised in Vectra AI's inaugural Partner of the Year Awards.

Vectra's vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan, David Sajoto, says that robust threat detection and response solutions are required in the current incalculable, turbulent and unpredictable business environment.

"Building strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with leading technology providers and channel-focused organisations has always been crucial for us at Vectra," he says.

"We are ecstatic at Vectra to have such a fantastic network of partners, and we are even more thrilled to be able to recognise some of the great work these organisations do with our first-ever Partner of the Year Awards."

Vectra Asia Pacific and Japan director of channels, Dee Clinton, says the company places high importance on ensuring all existing and prospective customers can quickly find, deploy and adopt its threat detection and response technology.

"Our phenomenal network of partners plays a massive role in the successful execution of this goal, and we are thrilled to highlight some of these world-class institutions. Partners were evaluated and chosen based on their excellence in customer service, innovation, and technological expertise," she says.

Vectra recognised its Australian partner, Baidam Solutions, for the Reseller Partner of the Year Award 2021. The company also recognised three other Asia-Pacific partners:

  • Firmus - Enterprise Reseller Partner of the Year 2021
  • ShellSoft - Enterprise Partner of the Year 2021
  • Macnica - Distribution Partner of the Year 2021

Baidam Solutions joint CEO and cofounder Jack Reis thanks Vectra for recognising his company's work to help organisations accurately detect threats in their network, including the early stages of Ransomware.

"We continue to recommend these best of breed products as a key part of our recommended security stack to our customers, allowing them to have full visibility - the gift of sight," he says.

Vectra says Baidam's win reinforces findings from its latest Vectras Security Leaders Research Report, which highlights the importance of channel partners, as businesses attempt to navigate mounting security challenges.

The survey found that 95% of decision-makers are grateful to have a trusted channel partner to guide decision-making.

Vectra also honoured six of its global partners through its global awards for their significant contributions to the company in 2021. The winners of the Global Partner Award are:

  • Orange Cyberdefense - Global Partner of the Year 2021
  • NTT Security - Global Growth Partner of the Year 2021
  • Microsoft - Global Ecosystem Partner of the Year 2021
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Global Cloud Partner of the Year 2021
  • Hitachi System Security - Global Technology Excellence of the Year 2021
  • Wipro - Global MSSP Partner of the Year 2021

Vectra says it created these regional awards to recognise partners who add immense value to its customer and product ecosystem and help contribute to the company's overall success.
