Veteran Business Development Manager rejoins Class
Class has appointed David Goldsmith as Business Development Manager.
The new appointment reflects a continued focus on supporting current customers and partners, building relationships and propositions for new customer segments, and positioning the business for growth.
"I'm delighted to announce the return of David Goldsmith to the Class business, a respected industry professional with a depth of experience and expertise," says Jo Hurley, Growth General Manager, Class.
"Over the years, David has built extensive relationships with top-tier accounting, auditing, SMSF administration and financial planning firms by helping these businesses to embrace and use technology to benefit client outcomes and drive efficiencies.
"This year marks 10 years since David first started his journey with Class and found his passion for SMSFs, technology innovation and solutions that transform the way businesses do work. So, we're excited to welcome him back to the Class team."
Early in his career, Goldsmith started out as an accountant, including working in the Channel Islands, England, before moving back to Australia, where he then made the switch to sales working for BankLink, helping accountants to streamline their banking transaction data, and joined the Class business as Business Development Manager in 2012.
Most recently, Goldsmith was Head of Sales for specialist SMSF audit company Evolv Super Audits and now returns to the Class business with deep industry knowledge and expertise.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Jo and the team doing what I love which is supporting Class customers and partners with market-leading cloud based SMSF technology solutions," Goldsmith says.
"Class delivers best-in-class innovation and automation for Australia's top accounting firms and is focused on enhancing customer experiences and continuing to develop solutions that create even more value for its customers and partners.
"I look forward to catching up with existing Class customers and partners as well as making new connections face to face when I attend the SMSFA Association national conference this February."
