Thu, 12th Oct 2023

Vultr, the world’s largest privately-held cloud computing platform, has partnered with Signiant, advocates of accelerated file transfer solutions. Signiant has joined Vultr's Cloud Alliance, providing opportunities to optimise the flow of digital content. The technology partnership combines Vultr's high-performance cloud infrastructure with Signiant's accelerated file transfer and media management solution to enhance performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

The digital revolution has resulted in an ever-growing need to transfer large media files rapidly, securely, and reliably. Many businesses struggle with traditional media transfer methods due to large file sizes, latency, data loss, and complex file management systems. Now, with the alliance between Vultr and Signiant, media and entertainment companies, video game studios, post-production houses, creative and marketing agencies, and financial establishments can confidently manage the migration of large files across geographically disparate locations.

Robert Browne, Signiant's VP of Global Technology Alliances and Partnerships, stated: "With Vultr we have created a powerful partnership that delivers unprecedented speed, global reach, and resilience. Thanks to our leading, best-of-breed technologies, organisations around the world have a robust, scalable solution that optimises workflows, heightens data security, and enhances productivity."

The SaaS-based file transfer software created by the Vultr and Signiant partnership optimises bandwidth usage, reduces latency and data loss, simplifies file management, and provides a secure and reliable upgrade for outdated media transfer methods. It promises considerable bandwidth cost savings thanks to the combination of Signiant's accelerated file transfer technology and Vultr's scalable cloud infrastructure.

J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Constant, the creator and parent company of Vultr, believes that the relationship with Signiant brings added value to the company's technology partners. He elaborates, "We have created a solution that will uplevel the media experience everywhere, so that businesses can easily exchange content and deliver files seamlessly to, from, and across clouds and on-premises storage."

With Signiant being the latest entrant in Vultr's Cloud Alliance, organisations can customise cloud operations through a variety of enterprise-grade IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS providers. This ecosystem can be scaled as per the requirements of the organisation and can help meet their needs at every level.
