Wiise enters strategic partnership with Solutions+ NZ
Fri, 5th Apr 2024

Wiise, a rapidly expanding cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has recently unveiled a strategic partnership with new market entrant, Solutions+ NZ.

Solutions+ NZ, a merger of Australian business solutions provider Solutions Plus Partnership and Auckland-based IT consultancy, Ozone, represents the first overseas expansion for the group. The strategic partnership is forecasted to create nearly 40 high-tech employment opportunities across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand over the upcoming years.

Allan Morichaud, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Solutions+ NZ, expressed his excitement about the initiative. "Our partnership with Wiise ERP strengthens our position as a leading provider of business solutions in the wider region," he said, adding that this joint venture represents a strong commitment to offering top-tier services to their clientele.

Morichaud described this fusion of Wiise's comprehensive ERP solutions with Solutions+ expertise as a method to address the unique business needs faced by Aotearoa New Zealand small and medium businesses, providing them with the necessary tools and insights for success. He expressed confidence that this compelling proposition would be in high demand as they extend their presence in the Aotearoa New Zealand market.

Considering the increasing adoption of cloud-based solutions in Aotearoa New Zealand, with public cloud services spending projected to reach more than NZ$5.1 billion by 2026, this alliance plans to assist the numerous SMBs entering this transition phase. The aim is to offer them end-to-end visibility and a single source of truth for their business operations.

Charlie Wood, Chief Executive Officer of Wiise, emphasised that the partnership will provide greater options for small and medium businesses in Aotearoa New Zealand, allowing them to access more robust, bespoke solutions as they aim to streamline operations and adopt data-driven decisions. Wood expressed excitement about this venture, describing Wiise as highly customised for New Zealand businesses, offering services like an automated payroll solution compliant with New Zealand’s Inland Revenue – Te Tari Taake department, and automated bank feeds compatible with leading Aotearoa New Zealand banks.

Built for small and medium-sized businesses, the Wiise platform is designed to help move whole businesses forward in one secure Microsoft platform.

In December 2023, as part of its ongoing commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand, Wiise had announced Employment Hero as its payroll solutions partner to automate and simplify HR operations for local businesses. This partnership aims to keep companies aligned with the constantly changing employment laws and regulations.
