WithYouWithMe spins out Greenbeam as global SaaS firm
Australian workforce technology company WithYouWithMe has split its operations into two independent businesses, carving out its software arm as a standalone global SaaS venture under the Greenbeam brand.
The move separates WithYouWithMe's workforce intelligence platform from its talent services operations. Greenbeam will run as a software company focused on workforce data and analytics. WithYouWithMe will concentrate on talent creation services targeting underrepresented groups in technology roles.
WithYouWithMe, founded in 2015 by Australian veterans, built its model around training and placing candidates from overlooked communities into high-demand technology jobs. The company expanded into several international markets and reported fast revenue growth that drew recognition in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 rankings.
The separation follows several years of product and market development for the software platform. Demand for workforce intelligence tools has risen as large organisations adjust their workforces for the impact of artificial intelligence and automation on roles and skills.
Under the new corporate structure, Tom Larter remains Chief Executive Officer of WithYouWithMe. The services business will continue to prioritise its social impact agenda in Australia and the United Kingdom. Larter will also sit on the board of Greenbeam, which is intended to maintain close links between the two companies during the transition.
Greenbeam will operate as an independent growth-focused SaaS business under new Chief Executive Officer Cia Kouparitsas. She previously served as Chief Customer Officer at WithYouWithMe, where she worked across product, customer growth and brand.
Board Chair Drew Kelton said the change represents a major shift for both parts of the organisation.
"This separation marks an exciting new era for both companies," said Drew Kelton, Board Chair, WithYouWithMe.
Kelton said the board views the software business as ready for a more focused path.
"The SaaS platform has matured into a globally competitive workforce intelligence product, and establishing Greenbeam as a standalone company allows it to scale with clarity, confidence and focus," said Kelton.
He said the appointment of Kouparitsas is a key part of that strategy. "I am delighted to announce the appointment of Cia Kouparitsas as CEO of Greenbeam. Cia was formerly Chief Customer Officer of WYWM and has been instrumental in shaping the product vision, the company's customer growth, and brand direction. Her leadership, strategic clarity, and customer focus makes her the right choice to take Greenbeam into its next phase of global expansion," said Kelton.
Kelton said WithYouWithMe will continue to pursue its original mission under Larter's leadership. "At the same time, WithYouWithMe's services business will continue its important social impact mission under the leadership of Tom Larter. Tom and the team are focussed on continuing to strengthen the mission to expand meaningful career pathways for under-represented communities and look forward to working with the Greenbeam team to make that happen through providing these groups with access to the software," said Kelton.
Software carve-out
Greenbeam's workforce intelligence product has recorded growth in customer numbers and revenue during the past two years. Management links this trend to rising demand for workforce transformation as large organisations adjust for AI-enabled disruption.
The platform is used by employers across Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Customers include BHP, Endeavour Group, Australian Government departments and the Australian Defence Force, as well as Leonardo and GED Testing Service.
Greenbeam currently reports annual recurring revenue in the multi-million dollar range. The company states that demand is rising in areas such as workforce planning, internal mobility and large-scale reskilling.
Kouparitsas said the software business is positioning itself around a concept of workforce sustainability.
"The future of work requires a new kind of leadership-one that treats the workforce as a renewable resource, not a consumable one," said Kouparitsas.
She linked the product's focus to the pace of AI adoption inside large organisations. "AI is accelerating change faster than organisations can hire, restructure, or react. Workforce sustainability is emerging as the defining competitive advantage. It is vital organisations have the ability to identify workforce capability clearly, reskill people quickly, and build a workforce that can adapt with confidence," said Kouparitsas.
Kouparitsas said Greenbeam seeks to position its platform as a central decision tool for leaders. "Greenbeam gives organisations the intelligence to light the path forward. Our mission is to help organisations build resilience and grow sustainably by unlocking the capability already within their people. This is not just software, it's a new philosophy for how modern organisations thrive," said Kouparitsas.
Social impact focus
WithYouWithMe will continue to operate as a social impact business that concentrates on digital skills shortages and diversity in technology hiring. The company works with veterans, Indigenous communities, neurodivergent individuals and candidates from non-traditional backgrounds.
Larter said the sharper focus on services changes the organisation's operating model.
"WithYouWithMe has always stood for creating meaningful career pathways for people who have been overlooked by traditional hiring systems," said Tom Larter, CEO, WithYouWithMe.
He said the separation strengthens that focus on employment outcomes. "Now with the focus of the business purely on supporting more people into work, we are in a stronger position than ever to champion under-represented talent in Australia and the United Kingdom. This new structure allows us to scale our impact, deepen our employer partnerships and open even more pathways for veterans, Indigenous communities, neurodivergent talent and people from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds," said Larter.
The two companies intend to remain closely aligned commercially. WithYouWithMe plans to continue using Greenbeam's software in its assessment and training work.
"We will continue to work closely with Greenbeam as strategic partners. Their workforce intelligence platform remains central to our social impact model, helping us identify potential, surface transferable skills and support large-scale reskilling programs. Together, we can create clearer, faster pathways into meaningful work for the communities we serve," said Larter.
The Greenbeam brand and digital infrastructure will roll out in stages, while WithYouWithMe retains its existing identity and social impact mandate.
