Zadara & MSG launch sovereign AI cloud with NVIDIA GPUs in US
Zadara and Micro Support Group (MSG) have entered into a strategic partnership to deliver multi-tenant AI clouds utilising NVIDIA GPUs and sovereign cloud solutions as an alternative to VMware.
The collaboration will allow organisations across the Northeast of the United States to access cloud infrastructure designed for a broad range of workloads, with a particular focus on enterprise AI applications that require strict data sovereignty and compliance measures.
Scope of partnership
MSG, which has provided technology services in the Northeast for more than four decades, is expanding its IT strategy and services portfolio by integrating Zadara's cloud platform. The addition will allow MSG's customers to run enterprise workloads and AI-driven solutions on platforms powered by NVIDIA GPUs, which are well-suited for high-performance and AI-centric operations. The offering includes both multi-tenant AI clouds and sovereign clouds and is positioned as a viable replacement for organisations looking to move away from VMware.
Dayna Morton, CEO of Micro Support Group, commented on the objectives of the partnership:
"Our partnership with Zadara allows us to deliver new levels of performance, resilience, and sovereignty for our customers. Enterprises today need more than just traditional IT; they need multi-tenant AI clouds that are secure, cost-effective and tailored to their businesses. Together with Zadara, we're bringing exactly that to our customers. Moreover, Zadara provides a top-notch solution for enterprises looking for a VMware alternative."
The Zadara platform features a distributed edge cloud architecture and is intended to give users flexibility, predictable pricing, and managed services. MSG customers are set to gain access to AWS-compatible Zadara clouds; the model includes consumption-based billing and no data egress fees, with managed support available at all times.
Digital sovereignty and AI cloud infrastructure
The combined offering is designed to appeal to businesses concerned with digital sovereignty-keeping sensitive data subject to specific regulatory or jurisdictional controls. There is growing demand among organisations for cloud solutions that meet such requirements, particularly for AI workloads and sectors handling critical data.
Yoram Novick, CEO of Zadara, said:
"MSG has been a trusted technology leader for decades, and we're proud to partner with them to expand access to Zadara-powered sovereign AI clouds. Together, we are enabling organizations to build scalable and secure IT foundations that unlock the power of AI while ensuring resilience and digital sovereignty."
Zadara's platform is structured to support a broad range of IT needs, including support for hybrid, on-premises, multi-cloud, and edge deployments. Its compatibility with AWS and consumption-based pricing aim to provide cost predictability and operational flexibility to businesses transitioning from more traditional virtualisation or on-premises models.
Industry context
The collaboration comes amid increasing interest from enterprises in alternatives to established virtualisation platforms following changes in the global virtualisation market. Additionally, growing AI adoption and regulatory scrutiny of data handling practices are prompting companies to seek partners with compliant infrastructure and the expertise to manage high degrees of operational complexity.
Zadara's platform, with its global network of edge cloud locations and fully managed services, and MSG's established client base and support capabilities, are expected to jointly address these trends by providing tailored, sovereign-compliant AI cloud solutions to businesses with varied workloads and compliance requirements.
The partnership will immediately allow MSG to offer Zadara's cloud capabilities to its Northeast US customers, aiming to support a wide range of enterprise applications, virtualisation alternatives, and compliance-focused cloud strategies.
