Cvent to return with Singapore conference on AI & growth
Tue, 21st Jul 2026 (Today)
Cvent has announced the return of Cvent Accelerate Singapore 2026, the fifth edition of its Asia Pacific conference for event planners, marketers and hospitality professionals.
The conference will be held at Fairmont Singapore and will examine how artificial intelligence, data and Event-Led Growth are reshaping business events. It will also be Cvent's first Asia Pacific gathering since the rollout of its new global brand identity.
Over the past four years, the Singapore event has become a regular meeting point for professionals across events, hospitality and marketing in the region. This year's programme will include keynote presentations, executive panel discussions, breakout sessions, live technology demonstrations and networking.
Topics will include business event return on investment, strategic planning in an AI-driven environment, venue discovery and sustainability. Session titles include "Decoding the Shift: B2B Event Trends & The Path Forward in the AI Age", "The Future of Event Tech: The Next Act" and "AI-Enhanced RFP to ROI: How Planners, Marketers, and Hoteliers Win Together".
Cvent also plans to showcase CventIQ, its artificial intelligence tools embedded across the platform. The tools are used in areas including planning, attendee engagement, content generation and post-event analysis.
Regional focus
The Singapore edition forms part of Cvent's broader effort to place itself at the centre of discussions about the changing role of business events. The company argues that events are increasingly measured by their contribution to growth rather than treated solely as operational functions.
That framing is reflected in the conference's emphasis on Event-Led Growth, a term Cvent uses to describe a marketing approach that connects events more directly to sales pipelines, customer engagement and business performance. It also highlights how technology suppliers are trying to show that event platforms can support commercial decision-making as well as logistics.
The programme will examine how planners, marketers and hospitality groups can respond to those shifts. A number of sessions are expected to focus on collaboration between venues, event organisers and brand teams as artificial intelligence tools become more common in sourcing, planning and reporting.
In comments accompanying the announcement, Cvent pointed to the role the conference has played in the region in recent years.
"Cvent Accelerate Singapore has been the region's premier forum for event, hospitality and marketing professionals for the past four years," said Will Kataria, Country Head & Senior Director, Asia Pacific, Cvent.
Kataria also linked this year's edition to wider changes in the sector and within the company.
"The fifth edition is particularly significant as it's the first in Asia Pacific since our global brand transformation, and it arrives at a moment when AI is fundamentally changing what events can do. We're bringing together the industry's most forward-thinking leaders to share what's working, explore what's possible and push the conversation forward," said Kataria.
Company scale
More than 445,000 users across over 34,000 organisations use Cvent's products, and its systems have been used to manage more than 8 million events.
The business serves corporate event teams, marketers and hospitality groups, offering tools for in-person, virtual and hybrid formats. It also operates a marketplace for hotels, venues and destinations seeking group business.
More than USD $20 billion in group business is sourced annually through Cvent's ecosystem. The figure points to the scale of the meetings and events market that technology providers are seeking to organise and measure more precisely.
The announcement comes as companies across the events sector continue to test how artificial intelligence can reshape planning workflows and audience engagement. Suppliers have increasingly focused on features that automate content creation, improve matching between organisers and venues, and provide more detailed reporting after events.
For hospitality groups, those changes also affect how venues are discovered and evaluated. For marketers, they increase pressure to show clearer evidence that events contribute to customer acquisition, retention and revenue opportunities.
Several listed sessions point directly to those concerns, including "Event Pipeline Anxiety: Solving the Fears That Keep Marketers Up at Night" and "Relevance Redefined: How AI is Reinventing Venue Discovery for Planners".
