David Galloreese joins Datadog as new Chief People Officer
Datadog has appointed David Galloreese as its new Chief People Officer, the company announced. Galloreese brings with him more than 15 years of experience in human resources from previous roles at prominent organisations including Figma, Wells Fargo, Walmart, Medallia, and Caesars Entertainment.
Olivier Pomel, co-founder and CEO of Datadog, expressed enthusiasm about the new hire, stating: "David brings a wealth of experience leading the People function at both tech companies and large-scale, high-visibility brands. In his most recent role, Galloreese served as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, providing guidance to companies such as Karat, Guild, and Gametime. Before his advisory position, he held senior human resources roles including Chief Human Resources Officer at Figma and Wells Fargo. Additionally, Galloreese was the Chief People Officer at Sam's Club and served as the Head of People & Culture at Medallia.
Galloreese's broad experience spans various sectors, enhancing his capability to manage and support Datadog's human resources amidst the company's growth. His prior roles at established companies have equipped him with the skills and insights needed to foster a resilient and dynamic workforce.
