Everpure has appointed Alison McQuarrie as Head of Partners in Australia and New Zealand, expanding its channel leadership in the region.

McQuarrie will oversee partner success across Australia and New Zealand, with responsibility for strengthening the partner network and supporting partner-led sales growth. She will work closely with partners to deepen collaboration, identify market opportunities, and broaden adoption of the company's Enterprise Data Cloud approach.

Her appointment comes as technology suppliers and channel partners in the region respond to rising interest in artificial intelligence, alongside customer concerns about data readiness, infrastructure costs, and business returns. Everpure said its channel model places partners at the centre of how it serves customers in the market.

McQuarrie brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector. Her background includes developing strategy, building teams, and delivering growth across key markets for global technology providers.

Everpure also highlighted her work supporting diversity and women in technology, as well as her experience building inclusive partner and sales organisations. That background is expected to shape how the company develops its partner operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Channel focus

Everpure describes itself as a fully channel-focused business, making the partner function central to its regional strategy. In Australia and New Zealand, that means helping partners respond as customers reassess data management while preparing systems and operations for wider AI use.

The role also reflects broader competition among infrastructure and data management suppliers to build influence through resellers, distributors, and alliance partners. Vendors are increasingly relying on those relationships as companies seek practical ways to connect AI spending with operational and commercial outcomes.

McQuarrie outlined her approach in a statement on the appointment.

"Everpure has a strong partner ecosystem across ANZ, and I'm excited to work with our partners to help customers harness AI with the right data foundations," said Alison McQuarrie, Head of Partners, ANZ, Everpure.

Andrew Fisher, who oversees partner, distribution, and alliance operations across Asia Pacific and Japan, said the hire formed part of the company's regional push.

"Alison brings deep expertise in building strong partner ecosystems and delivering business impact. I'm delighted to have her lead our ANZ partner organisation as we build on our momentum in the region and help customers turn AI ambition into business value," said Fisher.

Everpure operates in storage and data management, an area that has gained fresh attention as businesses weigh how to organise, move, and govern data for AI-related workloads. In Australia and New Zealand, that has created an opening for channel partners that can advise on infrastructure choices, cost control, and the practical steps needed before broader AI deployment.

For Everpure, the appointment signals an effort to strengthen those partner relationships as vendors compete to show that data management underpins AI adoption. McQuarrie's remit places her at the centre of that effort across the two-country market.
