Wed, 1st Mar 2023
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Extreme Networks, a leader in cloud networking, has announced the appointment of three new team leaders based in Sydney and Melbourne to support its channel growth in Australia and New Zealand. Djeffri Setiawan has been appointed ANZ Channel Manager, responsible for developing and maturing the company's channel strategies in line with its growth strategies. Jayshil Parmar has joined as Partner Development Manager ANZ, responsible for supporting and onboarding new partners and building deeper relationships with existing partners. Robin Slatter has been appointed ANZ Distributor Manager, responsible for managing distributor relationships and strategies in support of the overall Extreme Networks channel business strategy in the region.

Carmelo Calafiore, Extreme Networks ANZ Regional Director, stated that "These new hires will help strengthen our team as we continue investing in and growing the ANZ business. At the end of the day, it's how we respond to people and support partners that differentiates us. That's where we really shine, providing a high level of partner touch so partners feel supported to offer our solutions, and in turn, deliver better outcomes for their end user customers."

Stefan Compagnoni, Head of Channel and Inside Sales South Asia, Extreme Networks, expressed his confidence in the new hires and the potential for growth in the ANZ market. "There are a lot of opportunities for Extreme in Australia and New Zealand, and by strengthening our local team we will be able to provide more support for both existing and new customers and channel partners in the region. Our new team members have the skills and experience necessary to help us succeed as we continue to invest in the ANZ market and increase adoption of our industry-leading cloud networking solutions."

Setiawan brings over ten years of experience in the Australian IT channel to the team, having previously worked as Channel Sales Manager Oceania at Genetec. Parmar has nine years of channel sales experience and has worked at STM Goods in several business development and distribution roles. Slatter brings over two decades of experience from his time at Dell Technologies, where he led multiple teams supporting partners and distributors in Australia and New Zealand to foster growth and overall strategic business success.

With these new appointments, Extreme Networks is well-positioned to collaborate with key partners and customers to identify new opportunities and increase awareness and adoption of its cloud networking solutions throughout ANZ.
