EY unveils AI platform with NVIDIA to transform industries

Today

EY has announced the launch of its new EY.ai Agentic Platform, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, aimed at transforming sectors with initial focus on tax, risk, and finance.

The EY.ai Agentic Platform employs the NVIDIA AI stack, incorporating NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA AI-Q Blueprint. It integrates NVIDIA's private, domain-specific AI reasoning models with human expertise to enhance operations through AI agent productivity. Deployment will initially focus on core areas and extend to sector-specific AI agent solutions, including life sciences, manufacturing, and financial services.

NVIDIA plays a significant role in the EY.ai Agentic Platform's development and deployment. Central to the platform are several crucial components: the EY Responsible AI Frameworks, which emphasise responsibility, veracity, transparency, and reliability, utilising NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails and EY SafePrompt software to mitigate AI risks at the agent level; an Agentic Framework to create and orchestrate agents using NVIDIA Blueprints; a Model Catalog of purpose-fit models; a Model Development Suite for enterprise-ready AI reasoning models using NVIDIA AI Foundry; and global deployment options through the NVIDIA Cloud Provider ecosystem.

The platform also offers domain and sector AI agent solutions, including those for indirect tax, income tax compliance, financial crimes, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. These are powered by client-specific reasoning models fine-tuned for various industries, such as finance, marketing, cyber resiliency, and supply chain.

Janet Truncale, EY Global Chair and CEO, commented, "With the EY.ai Agentic Platform, we are moving fast to help the world's largest organisations transform their enterprises and streamline increasingly complex compliance requirements, while enhancing productivity and operational excellence across our own businesses." She further noted the collaboration with NVIDIA, stating, "In collaboration with NVIDIA, we're harnessing the collective knowledge of 400,000 skilled professionals, and the broad spectrum of EY services, to help shape the future with confidence in a fast-moving, highly competitive global economy."

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA founder and CEO, remarked, "AI agents give businesses the power to navigate complexity with unprecedented intelligence. By combining EY's deep domain expertise with NVIDIA AI, we're shaping a new era of enterprise services—where AI-driven reasoning transforms financial decision-making, risk management and regulatory compliance at global scale."

EY will leverage the platform to apply its extensive expertise and curated data sets, enhanced by NVIDIA AI and its reasoning models, to provide seamless AI solutions. These solutions are designed to respond to real-time events, adapt to regulatory changes, and drive smarter financial and risk decisions globally.

This initiative builds on previous collaborations between EY and NVIDIA, including announced solutions for telecommunication providers. Through these AI solutions, EY.ai telecom agents are reforming contract reviews, and plans are underway for rapid expansion into other sectors.

The initial deployment phase involves integrating AI agents with EY's workforce to surpass 3 million tax compliance deliverables and redefine over 30 million tax processes annually. This integration includes 150 tax agents assisting 80,000 EY tax professionals in tasks such as data collection, document analysis, review, and tax compliance.

Furthermore, EY.ai risk agents will collaborate with risk professionals to introduce AI-native services, including a third-party risk management agent designed to comprehensively manage risks and significantly increase productivity.

Verdantix recently recognised EY for its risk management services, citing the company's expertise in data, analytics, and AI, alongside its strategic partnerships, as key competitive advantages.
