Global independent IT services provider sets up office in A/NZ
FYI, this story is more than a year old
The world’s largest third-party maintenance and multi-vendor IT lifecycle services provider Curvature has extended its footprint to Australia.
The company has announced the opening of its new office in Sydney, with a satellite office in Melbourne. Curvature is confident the Australian locations will offer local, national and international customers expert, flexible, end-to-end services, 24/7 global support, advanced hardware replacement and complete IT asset lifecycle management under a consolidated worldwide contract.
“This move ignites our ability to partner more closely with Curvature customers and partners across this vital region,” says Curvature CEO Peter Weber.
“By opening offices in Australia, we can respond to escalating demand for our vendor-agnostic services while freeing local customer teams from daily support burdens.”
The company has a strong global presence which is made up of offices in 12 countries, more than 100 staffed service centres, and 600 parts locations around the globe. Furthermore, the company conducts business in 20 languages, which ensures elevated support for diverse customers, including multinational enterprises, government entities, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, technology companies and telecommunications service providers.
Curvature also has announced that Darren Clarkin has joined the company as country manager in Australia.
Clarkin comes equipped with more than 30 years of experience in business development, operations, and channel partners. During his tenure with vendors like Cisco, VMware and Lanier Worldwide, Clarkin navigated customer requirements from Silicon Valley to Singapore and Sydney, and Weber is confident that he is well positioned to form a highly responsive, local team to support the special requirements of multinational, multi-vendor organisations in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Curvature APAC general manager Jason Ogden says the new appointment will drive continued momentum throughout the region.
“Our service delivery model has been well established in Australia for nearly a decade,” Ogden says.
“We’re excited to have an experienced leader of Darren’s caliber ensure that our clients and partners benefit from rapid, hands-on support and expert IT services execution.”
Likewise, Clarkin says he is excited to join the company in building a sustainable operation in the A/NZ region.
“Our value proposition is compelling to any organisation faced with the constant need to innovate while still maintaining legacy IT infrastructures. With Curvature, organisations can address both as part of a powerful, end-to-end IT asset lifecycle strategy.”
