Jellis Craig has expanded its digital property platform with three tools for vendors and buyers, extending its use of data and artificial intelligence across sales campaigns.

The rollout includes Jellis Craig Live, a reporting dashboard for vendors; redesigned digital brochures for buyers; and Jellis Craig Assist, an artificial intelligence assistant for property campaigns.

Jellis Craig Live gives vendors real-time information on campaign activity. The dashboard shows online engagement across major property portals, open inspection attendance, buyer feedback, and comparative performance against similar listings.

Vendors used the platform's dashboard an average of 34 times during a campaign, indicating regular use of live reporting throughout the sales process.

Jellis Craig Assist is designed to identify potential buyers when a campaign goes live. Using behavioural data from across the agency's network, it matches listings with buyers who have shown interest in similar properties and contacts them through personalised email messages.

The assistant also responds to enquiries, supports online engagement, and sends digital brochures and follow-up information after inspections. It operates around the clock and can interact in multiple languages.

For buyers, the agency has also redesigned its digital brochures. Sent by SMS after inspections, they are intended to provide more detailed property information than is typically available through standard online listings.

Broader shift

The investment reflects a broader shift in the property sector, with agencies using digital tools to give sellers more visibility into campaign performance and stay in touch with buyers throughout a listing period.

Real estate groups have been under pressure to meet changing customer expectations around speed, transparency, and access to information. As a result, agencies are increasingly building systems that link marketing activity, buyer data and vendor reporting.

Jellis Craig said its latest systems are part of a broader digital strategy to create a more connected property journey. The business operates across metropolitan Melbourne, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Mornington Peninsula and Central Victoria.

The group has a buyer database of more than 2.8 million contacts, which underpins the outreach functions used by Jellis Craig Assist during sales campaigns.

Andrew McCann, Chief Executive Officer of Jellis Craig, said the investment reflects the group's view of how the market is changing. "Technology is changing customer expectations, and we're focused on ensuring our clients have access to the best tools available throughout their property journey."

McCann said the new tools are intended to improve communication, reporting and campaign management across the sales cycle. "Our investment in platforms like Jellis Craig Live, Jellis Craig Assist and Jellis Craig Digital Brochures is designed to deliver greater transparency, faster communication and provide insights that buyers and vendors need to make confident decisions, while helping us reach more prospective buyers to support better outcomes for our vendors."

As the agency increases its use of automation and data-driven tools, it said the changes are meant to sit alongside traditional agent-led relationships rather than replace them. The new systems are focused on reporting, buyer follow-up and the delivery of listing information.

McCann said that balance remains central to the company's approach. "While relationships remain at the heart of what we do, technology allows our people to work smarter, respond faster and provide a more connected experience from the moment a campaign launches through to the final sale."
