Kinetic IT appoints Jacqui Adams to lead digital transformation drive
Kinetic IT has appointed Jacqui Adams as Head of Digital Transformation and National Services, tasking her with advancing its national technology service operations. The move comes as the company seeks to drive digital modernisation and improve delivery models for its customers across Australia.
Leadership experience
Adams brings more than 20 years of experience covering strategic advisory, digital transformation, AI, automation, and program governance. Her career includes senior roles at Services Australia, Defence, and KPMG, as well as engagements across several critical industry sectors. She has led reform initiatives valued at up to AUD $1.4 billion and managed diverse teams in national and high-stakes environments.
Role focus
In her new capacity, Adams will lead Kinetic IT's digital platforms, national service frameworks, shared services, and transformation programmes. She is expected to simplify service practices and improve alignment between operations nationwide. The company has signalled that strengthening its leadership in these areas will support its focus on consistent delivery and evolving client requirements.

Background and credentials
Adams' experience features governance of large transformation portfolios, designing operating models, and embedding automation and AI capability. At Services Australia, she developed agency-wide automation strategies and worked on ethical frameworks for AI implementation. In roles advising Defence and national security organisations, she focused on strategy, stakeholder engagement, and measurable transformation outcomes.
She has completed executive education in AI, disruptive strategy, scaled agile, and systems thinking at Australian National University, Harvard Business School, and the University of Technology, Sydney.
