Kroll partners with CrowdStrike to boost global MDR protection

Wed, 3rd Dec 2025

Kroll has entered a multi-year agreement with CrowdStrike to enhance its managed detection and response (MDR) services globally. Under the partnership, Kroll will migrate protection of more than 500,000 endpoints to the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, which leverages artificial intelligence to support cybersecurity operations.

Platform migration

Kroll plans to transfer its endpoint security capability to Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR. The company expects the move will consolidate its existing point products and legacy tools into a single platform. This is expected to enable Kroll to improve both the speed and effectiveness of its threat detection, investigation, and response processes across its international client base.

The Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR platform has reported a 75% reduction in mean time to respond to threats and addresses more than 13 million detections each year. By adopting this platform, Kroll aims to deliver faster and more comprehensive remediation services while continuing to provide cyber advisory and incident response support.

Combined capabilities

The partnership combines Kroll's cybersecurity expertise with CrowdStrike's AI-powered technology. By joining these operational models, the two companies intend to provide continuous, expert-led security monitoring and response for organisations navigating complex and evolving digital risk environments.

The integration is designed to address the ongoing challenges posed by sophisticated global threat actors. Kroll's MDR clients will have access to consolidated, full-cycle protection supported by both in-house cyber professionals and automation capabilities provided through the Falcon platform.

Industry context

MDR is an area of growing significance for organisations seeking to defend against cyber attacks. These services combine advanced technology with human expertise to monitor, detect and respond to security incidents, offering a managed solution for organisations that may lack in-house resources. The collaboration follows ongoing demand for managed cyber services as threat complexity increases across different geographies and sectors.

Expert perspectives

"Kroll's migration to Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR is a defining moment for the MDR market. This partnership represents where the industry is headed, combining world-class expertise with AI-native technology to deliver faster, smarter, full-cycle protection. Together, CrowdStrike and Kroll are raising the bar for what organizations should expect from managed detection and response," said Tom Etheridge, Chief Global Services Officer, CrowdStrike.

"Kroll's mission is to protect, restore, and maximize value for our clients, and we look forward to continuing to fulfill this commitment in partnership with CrowdStrike," said David Burg, Global Group Head of Cyber and Data Resilience, Kroll. "I believe we have the best independent cyber advisory team globally - spanning critical capabilities, global reach, and unmatched credentials - who are on the front lines working with our customers against the ever-growing threat landscape. This partnership will ensure we can fight sophisticated global threat actors with state-of-the-art cyber technology at our disposal - protecting data and identities whilst securing digital, physical, and financial assets. Our customers need the best experts using the best technology in a complex and evolving world," said Burg.
