Medallia, the global leader in customer and employee experience, has appointed Adam Maine as the new Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Adam will lead Medallia's business in ANZ and help the company meet the rising demand for customer experience (CX) solutions in a market that is leapfrogging the rest of Asia Pacific in its appetite to use cloud-based technology for CX and data management. According to the press release, ANZ is using cloud-based technology at 56%, compared to 37% in Asia.
Adam brings over 17 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, and general management across Asia and ANZ. He has held key management roles at LinkedIn and International SOS, and most recently, he was the Head of ANZ at Asana. Denise Miura, Geo Vice President APAC, Medallia said that Adam’s leadership skills and expertise in building high-performance sales teams make him the perfect fit to lead the ANZ business.
As Country Manager, Adam will lead the team to deepen relationships with Medallia's large ANZ customer base across telecommunications, hospitality, retail, and financial services, among which include Telstra, Airbnb, Woolworths, and IAG. His team will continue to build on its strong track record to provide exceptional levels of support and drive customer success across the region.
Adam will also focus on strengthening Medallia's partner ecosystem, a key piece of the strategy to scale the business. This network will help Medallia support existing customers and extend its reach to new customers who will benefit from its solution and services.
