Monday.com expands APJ team with key appointments
Leading work operating system, monday.com, has confirmed the expansion of its Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) team with the noteworthy appointments of two senior figures. Diana Terry, with 15 years' experience in Engineering, comes on board as Head of Solution Engineering APJ, whilst Elian Priel takes on the role of Customer Success Lead APJ following her successful three years with monday.com's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) division.
Diana Terry's remit is to drive the sales process across the region, and she is anticipated to be a significant player in speeding up regional business growth. Her background includes valuable tenure as Vice President of Australian Solution Engineering at Salesforce. Speaking about this new chapter, Terry said, "I'm thrilled to join monday.com given the company's impressive history in building dynamic, intuitive solutions that reimagine work, productivity, and collaboration. I look forward to bringing my expertise to build on the team's solutions engineering capabilities and best support monday.com's over 225,000 customers."
Elian Priel climbs to Customer Success Lead APJ role, after implementing strategies, practices, and processes to establish customer success protocols in her previous role at the company. In her renewed capacity, Priel's focus will be on managing team development and performance, in tandem with working closely with the partnership team. Discussing this transition, she noted "Over the last three years, I've focused on building customer success strategies and practices to amplify our customer engagement. I'm excited to join the team in Sydney to continue elevating our regional customer experience and look forward to continuing to ensure that monday.com's customers have the best positive experience with our products and services."
The additions of Terry and Priel come as monday.com experiences steady expansion in Australia, with nearly 100 employees shared between its Melbourne office and regional HQ in Sydney. The Work OS giant now boasts over 18,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand, and the incoming duo will be crucial in further enhancing its regional footprint. This move is part of a wider recruitment drive as the company seeks to fill roles across Consulting, Customer Success, Customer Experience, and Partnerships teams.
Drawing on Terry's extensive track record leading solutions engineering teams, and Priel's proven experience at monday.com, the duo are perfectly positioned to facilitate business growth and customer success. Generally, their roles are critical in shaping monday.com's next phase of expansion across the APJ region.
Dean Swan, Regional Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, expressed his confidence in both Terry and Priel. "Building strong sales teams, empowering our local partner ecosystem, and facilitating long-term customer engagement is paramount to monday.com's ongoing regional success" he stated. "Diana and Elian bring a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to our APJ team and will play a critical role in scaling the business alongside our growing product suite."
