FYI, this story is more than a year old

Nic Dennis has been named as the new sales director for Australia and New Zealand at Board International.

Founded in 1994, Board International offers a decision-making platform, designed to enable customers to have a transformative impact on their business, helping them to intuitively play and create with data.

The platform unifies business intelligence, corporate performance management, and predictive analytics, and allows companies to produce a single, accurate, and complete view of business information, gain actionable insights, and achieve full control of performance across the entire organisation.

Its customers include global enterprises such as Coca-Cola, Ricoh, KPMG, Puma, Siemens, and ZF Group.

Based out of Sydney, Dennis will be responsible for supporting demand for Board International's comprehensive range of business intelligence solutions as well as the all-in-one Board platform.

These solutions incorporate planning and predictive functionalities, mitigating the need for disparate data silos and encourages collaboration amongst teams, the company explains.

Dennis joins Board International with more than 25 years experience of sales and business development in the IT industry, and was formerly vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific at Tealium.

Previously, he worked at Marketo as Vice president sales for Australia and New Zealand. He has also held sales management roles at Dell, Objective, and OpenText. His formative years were at IBM Australia, CSC Australia and CA Technologies, where over the course of more than ten years he helped expand the vendors presence into new market segments.

"I am delighted to welcome Nic to the Australia and New Zealand team and believe his extensive skill set and sales experience will be invaluable as we seek to further expand our business," says Mark Sands, general manager Asia Pacific, Board International.

"Indeed, Nic has created an enviable track record of growing the sales of technology companies," he says. '

"The Board sales and partner community looks forward to working with him as we continue to execute on our regional go-to-market strategy in meeting the business intelligence, corporate performance management and analytics requirements, which Australia and New Zealand businesses require to access, analyse and share information in order to improve decision-making processes," Sands explains.

Earlier this month, Board International launched a solution marketplace that shares prebuilt analysis, forecasting, and planning solutions for organisations seeking to drive digital transformation of customer business processes.

The marketplace means organisations are able to browse ready-made solutions built specifically for the Board decision-making platform, which complement customers' existing Board solutions.
