StyleMatrix launches AI inventory platform for fashion sector
StyleMatrix has launched an AI-driven inventory management platform targeting the fashion and footwear industries.
For over thirty years, SoleMate Software has assisted retailers and wholesalers in stock management with on-premise systems. It has now transitioned to the cloud-based StyleMatrix. This development combines AI-driven forecasting with real-time data insights and seamless integrations, enabling retailers to optimise their operations with enhanced efficiency.
Craig Cookesley, Founder of StyleMatrix, said, "We designed StyleMatrix to solve the biggest challenges in fashion and footwear retail and wholesale - stock inaccuracies, supply chain inefficiencies, and poor forecasting. Retailers need a system that doesn't just manage inventory but optimises it, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. AI and cloud technology are the future, and we're bringing that future to retailers today."
The newly introduced platform targets fashion and footwear retailers and wholesalers experiencing stockouts, overstocks, and inefficient stock tracking issues. AI-powered predictive analytics presents real-time inventory trends, allowing businesses to fine-tune stock levels to avoid overordering or shortages, reducing waste and enhancing customer experience.
Cookesley emphasised the limitations of traditional systems: "Traditional inventory systems rely on outdated, manual processes that leave retailers guessing. StyleMatrix eliminates that uncertainty by using AI-driven insights to anticipate customer demand, ensuring businesses never miss a sale due to stock shortages or inefficiencies."
The platform is tailored to address unique requirements in the fashion and footwear sector, such as matrix needs for colour and size, seasonal trends, and managing multiple store locations. Being cloud-based, StyleMatrix offers the flexibility of managing inventory from any device or location at any time.
Service features include AI-powered demand forecasting to anticipate sales trends and optimise purchasing, real-time stock visibility across locations, and e-commerce integration with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and The Iconic. Additionally, it offers mobile accessibility for instant inventory updates and automated replenishments to minimise manual errors and streamline stock management.
"One of the biggest frustrations we heard from retailers was the inability to track inventory effectively across multiple stores and sales channels," said Cookesley. "StyleMatrix provides complete control, visibility and automation to help retailers and wholesalers grow their businesses without the operational headaches."
StyleMatrix aims to optimise inventory and improve customer experiences by ensuring stock availability as needed. The platform integrates with customer relationship management (CRM) software, enabling retailers to customise shopping experiences and enhance loyalty programmes.
Cookesley explained, "We're not just solving inventory issues - we're helping businesses create better customer experiences and move stock before seasons end, by discounting and in-turn rewarding customers by knowing their preferences and sizes."
"With better inventory insights, retailers can understand customer behaviour, predict demand, offer customer rewards to sell stock before seasons end (not having to then heavily discount stock) and deliver a seamless shopping journey."
Retailers and wholesalers switching to StyleMatrix before April's end will receive a 30% discount on fees. This includes a 10% discount on the annual subscription and 20% off the signup onboarding fee. The discount aims to cover data transfer, setup, and training efficiently in days rather than weeks and provide historical data for forecasting as well.
