Tricentis boosts SAP partnership with AI & new integrations

Thu, 6th Jun 2024

Tricentis has announced advanced integrations and AI enhancements to support the increased adoption of SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The continuous testing and quality engineering operator has reported a record-breaking year in its partnership with SAP, witnessing a 46% year-on-year (YoY) revenue growth and a 40% YoY boost in new global customers.

This significant growth is partly attributed to Tricentis solutions being incorporated into several key SAP frameworks and tools, including the RISE with SAP adoption framework, SAP Activate, and SAP Cloud ALM. The new integrations and capabilities underline Tricentis' steadfast commitment to aiding enterprise transformations to SAP cloud solutions.

Tricentis integrates into the RISE with the SAP adoption framework to provide customers and partners with a meticulous methodology and precise tool selection for deploying SAP in the cloud. This inclusion aims to expedite and mitigate risks in SAP cloud ERP deployments, offering detailed guidelines to maximise the utility of Tricentis solutions.

Additionally, Tricentis has enhanced its integration with SAP Cloud ALM, aiming to improve customer experiences by streamlining the application lifecycle through its test automation solution. The combined capabilities promise a unified approach towards managing the entire application lifecycle, ensuring higher quality and accelerated delivery of SAP applications.

A standout feature of Tricentis' advancements is its AI capability to auto-generate test cases from SAP Cloud ALM. Built upon SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) AI infrastructure services, this feature leverages Tricentis' expertise in test management and SAP business processes. By generating comprehensive test scenarios, this innovation reduces the time and effort required for digital transformations, enhancing accuracy and coverage, which may lead to more robust SAP deployments.

The partnership between Tricentis and SAP has flourished markedly since its inception in 2020. Darryl Gray, Global Vice President of Software Partner Success at SAP, expressed enthusiasm over the partnership’s growth, highlighting the exciting advancements with AI, RISE with SAP, and SAP Cloud ALM. He anticipates continued collaborative success in helping joint customers accelerate their transformation journeys and gain efficiencies in cloud migration.

VJ Kumar, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Tricentis, reflected positively on the company's long-standing relationship with SAP. Kumar emphasised Tricentis' pivotal role in providing advanced quality assurance solutions that aid in accelerating, de-risking, and optimising SAP application implementations, upgrades, and transformations. As businesses aim for seamless digital transformations, Tricentis remains dedicated to being a crucial technology provider in this process.

The announcements were made at the SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference, where Tricentis hosted multiple sessions highlighting its AI-powered innovations in SAP Cloud ALM. One session, led by Marc Thier, SVP, Head of Customer Experience & Solutions for SAP, and Patrik Fiegl, VP, Global Head of Strategic Product Partnerships for Tricentis, discussed the synergy between the SAP Cloud ALM and Tricentis QA Solutions. Another session featured Sundar Iyer, Senior Director of QA and Release for Flowers Foods, showcasing the company’s rapid transformation using SAP S/4HANA supported by Tricentis Solutions.
