Fortinet adds three partners to Australia service scheme

Fortinet has added Data Haus, Seccom Global and Wavelink to its Engage Preferred Services Partner programme in Australia, placing the three companies in a small group of partners recognised under the scheme.

The move expands the vendor's local pool of accredited services partners as Australian organisations seek outside help to design, deploy and support increasingly complex security environments.

The invitation-only Engage Preferred Services Partner, or EPSP, programme is aimed at partners that can demonstrate technical expertise, delivery experience and sustained investment in Fortinet products and training. Fewer than 1 per cent of Fortinet partners globally hold the status.

That makes the Australian additions notable in a market where corporate buyers are dealing with network modernisation, hybrid technology estates and pressure to improve cyber resilience. The accreditation is intended to give customers another signal when selecting implementation and support partners.

John Milionis, Director, Channel and Distribution, Australia, Fortinet, described the additions as part of a broader build-out of the local partner network.

Partner network

The three newly accredited businesses play different roles in the channel. Data Haus and Seccom Global work directly with customers on security projects, while Wavelink operates as a distributor supporting resellers and partners across Australia.

For Data Haus, the accreditation reflects a push to deepen specialist expertise in Fortinet deployments. It said the status validates investment across its engineering team as it takes on larger and more complex customer projects.

Seccom Global framed the accreditation as the latest step in a relationship with Fortinet that stretches back more than two decades. The long association highlights the importance of vendor specialisation in the cybersecurity channel, where customers often rely on partners with product-specific engineering depth.

Distribution role

Wavelink's inclusion also highlights the role distributors can play beyond logistics and procurement. In security projects, distributors are increasingly expected to provide technical support to partners involved in complex deployments.

Wavelink said the accreditation strengthens its position in supporting the wider Fortinet channel with implementation work. That can include access to specialist engineers who assist resellers on projects that demand deeper product knowledge.

The latest accreditations build on the foundation of IP.Glass, which Fortinet identified as Australia's inaugural EPSP partner. With the addition of Data Haus, Seccom Global and Wavelink, Fortinet has expanded the number of local organisations that can market themselves as accredited providers of Fortinet implementation expertise.

For Australian customers, the change is likely to matter most in procurement and project delivery. Security buyers often need outside help not only to install products but also to integrate them with existing networks, cloud systems and operational processes, especially as cyber tools become more interconnected and demanding to manage.

For vendors, partner accreditation programmes serve a dual purpose: offering customers a shortlist of recognised service providers while giving channel businesses a way to distinguish themselves in a crowded cybersecurity market. In this case, Fortinet is using the EPSP badge to signal which partners it believes have invested in engineering skills and delivery experience around its technology.

Fortinet said the expansion of the Australian EPSP ecosystem gives customers greater choice and recognises partners that have invested in highly skilled engineering teams and advanced delivery work.
