Kinetic IT names Kishore Jayaram Chief Transformation Officer

Mon, 20th Apr 2026 (Today)

Kinetic IT has appointed Kishore Jayaram as Chief Transformation Officer, a newly created role that forms part of the company's next phase of growth.

He will focus on expanding Kinetic IT's market presence, developing sovereign digital services, strengthening partnerships and modernising existing services. This will include using sovereign capability, AI and other emerging technologies in services for government and critical infrastructure customers.

The appointment puts a new executive in charge of transformation as the Australian-owned technology services firm looks to broaden its offering beyond managed services and become a more diversified services organisation.

Career background

Based in Melbourne, Jayaram brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy, consulting and commercial leadership. He has previously held roles at McKinsey & Company, Cisco, Accenture and Thoughtworks.

Most recently, he was Strategy and Growth Lead at NCS Australia, where he helped shape the company's strategic direction and AI transformation agenda following its consolidation into a 1,300-strong national technology organisation.

Kinetic IT Chief Executive Dean Langenbach said the appointment comes as the business increases investment in new services and growth initiatives.

"Kishore joins Kinetic IT at a pivotal time as we invest in new capabilities, services and growth initiatives that will shape our future direction. His experience in enterprise transformation and strategic execution will help us capture emerging opportunities and deliver even greater value to our customers," said Dean Langenbach, Chief Executive, Kinetic IT.

He said the hire also reflects demand from public sector and essential service organisations.

"With Kishore's expertise complementing our leadership team, Kinetic IT is strongly positioned to support the evolving digital needs of government and critical services across Australia," added Langenbach.

Growth focus

Kinetic IT's current plans centre on modernising services and developing sovereign digital offerings for customers in sensitive and essential sectors, including government and critical infrastructure. In these sectors, Australian ownership and domestic service delivery can carry added weight in procurement and risk decisions.

The company's focus on sovereign technology services comes as organisations reassess where digital systems are built, operated and supported. In Australia, this has become a bigger issue for agencies and essential service operators as they weigh cyber risk, resilience and control over key systems.

Jayaram is expected to play a central role in shaping Kinetic IT's response. His remit covers service development, partnerships and the go-to-market approach needed to expand the company's reach.

He said the business had reached an inflection point.

"Few organisations reach a moment where they can fundamentally reshape their trajectory, and Kinetic IT is in one such moment," said Kishore Jayaram, Chief Transformation Officer, Kinetic IT. "Backed by strong leadership, deep industry trust and a clear mandate for growth, the focus now is on building on that strength, scaling new sovereign, AI-enabled solutions for customers in ways that truly differentiate us," added Jayaram.

Market shift

His comments point to a strategy that combines domestic service positioning with AI-led product and service development. Kinetic IT has framed that combination as part of its effort to create new digital services while modernising existing ones.

For the wider Australian technology services market, the appointment highlights how providers are reshaping executive teams around AI, transformation and sector-specific demand. Companies that have traditionally focused on managed services are increasingly looking for new growth in consulting, digital delivery and specialised platforms for regulated industries.

Jayaram said AI and Kinetic IT's Australian market position could create new opportunities for customers in essential sectors.

"I'm energised by what we can unlock," said Jayaram. "By combining Kinetic IT's uniquely Australian position with the accelerating force of AI, we have a real opportunity to deliver new value and support the vital sectors our nation relies on," added Jayaram.
