TechnologyOne has been named Queensland Corporate Philanthropist of the Year, recognising more than two decades of community support, charitable partnerships and philanthropy programs across the state.
The award acknowledges the company's contribution to community initiatives through fundraising, volunteering, technology support and direct financial assistance. TechnologyOne said it has contributed more than AUD $1 million to The Salvation Army's frontline services and community programs over the past 24 years.
The recognition also highlights the role of the TechnologyOne Foundation, which was established in 2016 to formalise the company's approach to community giving and volunteering.
Foundation focus
The foundation operates through a 1% Pledge model, committing 1% of profit, product and employee time to community initiatives. Its programs support charities and organisations working across education, poverty reduction and community wellbeing.
TechnologyOne reported that during 2025 it provided AUD $1.1 million in direct donations. Employees also raised AUD $107,664 through fundraising activities.
The company said it delivered AUD $1.2 million in product discounts to not-for-profit organisations, providing access to enterprise software intended to strengthen organisational capability and operations.
The foundation's long-term objective is to help lift 500,000 children and their facilities out of the cycle of poverty by 2032.
Community support
TechnologyOne's community programs include employee volunteering, fundraising campaigns and long-term partnerships with charitable organisations.
"At TechnologyOne, philanthropy is not something we simply do, it is part of our DNA. It is reflected in the way our people act, give back, and support the communities we serve every day. Through our technology, we help organisations focus on delivering better outcomes for the people they serve, while we take care of the technology that enables it," said Danielle Windle, Executive Vice President People & Culture, TechnologyOne.
The company said employee participation forms a central part of its approach, with staff contributing volunteer hours and supporting community organisations through a range of initiatives.
TechnologyOne works with organisations across sectors including community services, education and social support. The company said its technology programs aim to help not-for-profit organisations focus resources on service delivery.
Employee contribution
Employee fundraising and volunteering remain a significant component of the company's community activities.
TechnologyOne said its workforce contributes thousands of volunteer hours annually through partnerships with community organisations and charitable groups.
"Our people dedicate thousands of volunteer hours each year, build long-term partnerships with incredible community organisations, and provide technology and support to help not-for-profits focus on what matters most, changing lives," said Windle.
The company's philanthropy strategy combines direct financial support, employee engagement and technology assistance. Through the TechnologyOne Foundation, it continues to support organisations working to address social and community challenges across Queensland and beyond.
TechnologyOne said its community programs are focused on creating stronger communities while supporting organisations that provide services and assistance to people in need.
