Exabeam taps Chillisoft Australia to widen distribution

Exabeam has appointed Chillisoft Australia as a distribution partner in Australia, extending an existing relationship in New Zealand.
Under the arrangement, Chillisoft Australia will distribute Exabeam's security operations products in the local market and support partners with training, pre-sales, proof-of-concept projects and customer support.
The agreement expands Exabeam's route to market in Australia as businesses face a shifting cyber threat landscape shaped by cloud adoption, identity-based attacks, insider risk and wider use of artificial intelligence in workplace systems.
Chillisoft Australia will offer the Exabeam New-Scale Security Operations Platform, which includes cloud-native analytics, behaviour-based detection and AI-assisted investigation tools. The platform is designed to identify risk-based changes from normal activity across users, entities and AI agents.
The companies have already worked together in New Zealand, and executives said that track record helped drive the expansion into Australia.
"We are delighted to announce that Chillisoft Australia has partnered with Exabeam as our esteemed distribution partner. With their growing market presence and extensive expertise, we are confident that this collaboration will enable us to expand our reach and provide exceptional cybersecurity solutions to businesses across Australia. Together, Chillisoft and Exabeam are poised to deliver unparalleled value and protection against modern-day threats," said Sean Abbott, Director, Channels and Alliances, APAC, Exabeam.
For Chillisoft, the Australian agreement adds to a regional business spanning Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
"Our partnership with Exabeam has been extremely successful over many years in New Zealand, and we are excited to now extend that momentum into Australia," said Alex Teh, Group CEO, Chillisoft.
"One of the key differentiators Chillisoft brings to the relationship is our strong technical capability across ANZ. We have invested heavily in building specialist cybersecurity engineering resources that allow us to provide high-quality pre-sales demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements for Exabeam partners and customers."
Teh pointed to a recent customer deal in the region as evidence of the partnership's commercial benefits.
"This technical investment has already delivered significant outcomes for both organisations, including a major recent win with leading bank in ANZ and Pacific. By working closely together, we've been able to accelerate customer confidence, shorten sales cycles, and ensure successful deployments."
Managed services
The Australian expansion also reflects a broader shift in how cybersecurity products are sold and delivered, with more providers packaging software as managed services rather than one-off licence sales.
That trend is relevant to Exabeam's managed security service provider program, which Chillisoft said could broaden its reach among Australian partners.
"The launch of Exabeam's MSSP program comes at exactly the right time for the Australian market," said Gavin Lawless, CEO, Chillisoft Australia.
"It enables us to work with a new generation of managed service providers who can now deliver Exabeam as a managed security service rather than simply reselling software licenses. This creates a much stronger long-term value proposition for partners and customers alike."
Exabeam said more than 3,000 enterprises worldwide use its products. Chillisoft, established in 1998, focuses on cybersecurity distribution across Oceania.
