monday.com launches AI features for non-technical Aussie workers
monday.com has introduced three new AI-powered features aimed at making artificial intelligence accessible to non-technical workers in Australia.
The new capabilities, named monday magic, monday vibe, and monday sidekick, have been developed to help small businesses, frontline teams, and staff without technology backgrounds automate tasks and boost productivity through AI integration in everyday workplace tools.
Addressing workplace concerns
As AI adoption continues to increase in Australian workplaces, there has been a corresponding rise in concerns among employees lacking technical skills, who fear being left behind. monday.com is responding to this by embedding AI functions in its platform, requiring no coding expertise to operate the tools.
The launch aims to help address the national skills gap by making AI tools readily available and usable by any worker. The new features are purpose-built for organisations of all sizes, from global enterprises looking to scale operations, to small and medium-sized businesses seeking greater efficiency with fewer resources.
Three new capabilities
monday magic introduces a new way to create tailored work solutions. Customers can describe their business needs in plain language, and the tool generates a complete, fully functional workflow or board. This process is designed to reflect business best practices and can handle onboarding, structure, and automation without the need for manual setup.
monday vibe provides an AI-enhanced, no-code platform for building secure, custom business applications. Aimed at ensuring enterprise-grade security, the tool allows users to create internal tools or contribute to monday.com's marketplace, without the necessity to write code. This opens up software creation for individuals and teams with or without technical backgrounds.
monday sidekick is described as a context-aware digital worker, aware of a person's company, role, and responsibilities. The assistant proactively provides suggestions and can automate tasks such as bookings or document management, aiming to bridge gaps in AI adoption by supporting daily work execution.
Company perspective
"At monday.com, we're not just building AI, we're rethinking how software is built and used," said Daniel Lereya, Chief Product and Technology Officer at monday.com. "With customers across nearly every industry, we know how work really happens - what drives teams forward, and what slows them down. This launch marks a significant step forward, with AI deeply embedded across the platform to help teams move faster and focus on what truly drives impact. A core part of that evolution is monday vibe - our AI-enhanced no-code builder that lets teams create secure, scalable tools with just a prompt, unlocking a new level of flexibility and speed."
Focus on accessibility
According to the company, approximately 245,000 of its customers are non-technical users. Ensuring that the new AI features are easy to adopt has been a foundational aspect of the development. By focusing on intuitive design and integration, monday.com states that it aims to serve a wide range of industries and team backgrounds.
Since implementing its AI strategy, the company has reported more than 150% growth in adoption rates quarter over quarter, with over 26 million AI-driven actions completed by users across the platform as of the end of the first quarter.
The integration of these AI capabilities spans the full suite of monday.com products, including work management, CRM, development, and service solutions, providing a cohesive user experience across different operational needs.
monday.com's latest launch is positioned to support both large enterprises and small businesses in navigating the evolving landscape of workplace technology, focusing on inclusive and accessible AI solutions for productivity and task automation.
